Video/DVD

For many people, the first real glimpse of Japan was on a silver (or TV) screen. Of course, some films are more "real" than others, and even an expert blind samuri would cut a bigger swath through contemporary Edo with a cell phone than a sword. Nevertheless, there's nothing like a good movie! Whether you're building your own library, or looking for a unique gift, we hope you will like our selection of over 130 Japanese videos. We've tried to include alternate titles, formats, and related books. You'll have to get your own popcorn, though.
