Some Important Details
O-Hayo Sensei reports positions submitted using our Position Listing Form at no charge. O-Hayo Sensei is free service - please let us help your recruiting effort!
O-Hayo Sensei is published on the 1st and 16th of each month (O-Hayo Sensei lives in San Francisco - remember the International Date Line). We accept listing requests until the day before publication. Listing requests received on the 1st or 16th of the month will be reported in the next edition.
Submit only ONE listing request per Form. In other words, if you have a full-time position and a part-time position, submit each position on a separate Form (i.e. use two Forms). If you have multiple positions, it may be easier for you to submit your requests using the e-mail Form.
O-Hayo Sensei can change/modify requirements, salary/working locations, deadlines, contract information, etc. at any time.
O-Hayo Sensei notifies all employers by e-mail when their listing request is received, and when their position will be reported.
Unless an application deadline is included, or a time period is specified, O-Hayo Sensei will report all openings received on the Position Listing Form in two issues only (a one month period). This ensures that our readers don't waste their time applying for filled positions, and protects schools from receiving (and having to process) unwanted applications/resumes.
O-Hayo Sensei notifies all employers by e-mail when their listing is about to be removed. You are always welcome to renew your free listing -- just let us know by return e-mail.
We strongly suggest including as many specific job requirements as possible -- especially those concerning residence in Japan and visa status. O-Hayo Sensei's readers are working professionals, and welcome the opportunity to share details about their experience and education.
In spite of the above suggestion, you are not required to complete every line or answer every question. Not all the blanks in this form will apply to your institution. If the fields do not apply to your position, you can simply write-in “n/a” or “none.” The form indicates which fields are required, and the form cannot be submitted unless all of the required fields are completed.
All of the listings created from the Position Listing Form are written in-house, following O-Hayo Sensei's signature reporting format.
O-Hayo Sensei is written in English, using plain ASCII text. Japanese is OK, but must be expressed in romanji (using ASCII characters).
O-Hayo Sensei tests all contact e-mail addresses before publication. But please double-check your e-mail address!
Please note: O-Hayo Sensei does not sell or share your information to anyone. All of O-Hayo Sensei's online transactions are handled through PayPal on their secured servers - O-Hayo Sensei never sees your credit card/banking information.
